Work a Collections Account

If a Collector is currently working a collections account the following screen is presented when they click on the Collections icon:

This same screen will also be presented if the Collector retrieves an account from a collections queue. From this screen the user can perform any of the following actions:

Access Borrower Information

The Collector can quickly access the borrower's account information by clicking the View Borrower button. When the button is clicked, the Borrower Services/Borrower Information screen is brought to the forefront, with the associated borrower's information displayed. The user can then perform any of the Borrower Services functions as part of their collections activity.

To return to the Collections screen, click the Collections icon located in the navigation bar. The Collections screen will be returned to the forefront.

Enter (New) Review Date

The Collector can set a new review date for the account by entering a value in the Review Date field, and then clicking the Set Review Date button. An edit check is performed on the data value. If an invalid date value was supplied, an error is displayed to the user:

Acknowledge the error by clicking the OK button, correct the date value, and again click the Set Review Date Button. If a valid date was entered, the user is presented with a confirmation box as follows:

Click the OK button to proceed with the process. Each loan in the account will be updated with the Review Date, and the account will be released back to the appropriate Collections queue.

Release The Account

The Collector can release the account (without setting a new review date) by clicking the Release Account button. When this button is clicked, the account is released back to the appropriate Collections queue.
